Description
Fenugreek Seeds come from a plant that is known for its use as a herb, a vegetable, and also spice. Methi seeds have a brownish-yellow colour and are bitter. They have been used in cooking for centuries together not only for cooking purposes but also for their medicinal properties. A close family member of pea, Fenugreek or Methi or Alholva, or Chandrika, as called by different names worldwide, dates back to having originated in the Mediterranean region and Western Asia. Today, India, Afghanistan, and Pakistan are the largest producers of Fenugreek in the world.
